I enjoyed lots of sewing today, my day off from my regular job :)

I sewed a quilt top together, with the MSP Quilting Angels. I had previously cut three of the four fabrics I needed, and so I finished my cutting and started sewing the 6.5" squares together. It's a simple design, but will give me more practice, and it's with fun fabrics. U.S. "map", old-time trucks, stars and red and blue. A great semi-patriotic, soldier quilt!

And I sewed some small zippered bags for Billy's Sunday School teachers. A small gesture of thanks for a year with Billy every Sunday--he tells them all sorts of tales and stories about our life. They are often entertained and kept on their toes. Sometimes I wonder what they know about me...
